Eurail is a Pass for comfortable train travel throughout Europe. The Eurail Passes exist since 1959. There are several types of Eurail Passes which you can use for travel. The most popular Eurail Pass is the Eurail Global Pass, which enables you to rail travel in 20 European countries with one Pass.
Eurail.Com is a is a subsidiary of the Eurail Group. This is a cooperation between 30 European Railways and some shipping lines. This means that Eurail.Com offers Eurail Passes directly from the source.
Eurail does not offer so-called 'point-to-point tickets', meaning tickets for one time travel between two cities. The Eurail Passes are meant for travelers who wish to travel for a number of days within a certain period.
