People from which countries can buy a Eurail Pass?
You can buy a Eurail Pass if you are a resident of a non-European country, like USA, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Japan, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Singapore, China, India, Hong Kong.
You are considered to be a resident of a country if you have been living in this country for longer than 6 months on the first day on which you use the Eurail Pass. The train staff will check your residency in your travel documents (passport, visa), so we advice you to bring these documents on the train.
If you are a European resident, you can buy an InterRail Pass from the European InterRail website. Travelers from the following countries can buy an InterRail Pass:
