Express InterCity Premium

The fast and modern Express InterCity Premium trains, which started operation on 14 December 2014, are a new category of comfort and quality on Polish rail tracks. In this way, they begin a new chapter in the modernization of the Polish transport sector, and create a better travel standard in Poland – tailored to the needs and financial abilities of various groups of passengers.

These services are operated by Pendolino trains, reaching speeds up to 200 km/h on Polish tracks. They connect the large metropolitan areas of Warsaw, Gdánsk, Wrocław, Katowice, and Krakow. You can expect all the facilities of a modern high-speed train, including reclining seats, plenty of legroom, WiFi access, and an onboard bistro.

These premium trains are the fastest on the Polish network, so seat reservations and a supplement are mandatory. Read more about that on this page.

Facilities may differ per train and route. When using timetables and railway maps, you will notice that the local spelling of city names is often used. This spelling differs from the common English names. For example, Warsaw is usually written as Warszawa.
