How can I make reservations together with a traveling companion?

To make reservations together with your friends or family, you will need to have already bought Eurail Passes for each of you. Then you can proceed by logging in to your Eurail.com account. 

If you haven't already done so, you will first need to create a trip in your account. Follow these steps to do that:

• Click on "View Reservations" and then click on "Edit Your Trip and Travelers".
• If you purchased your Pass from our website, then you can simply click on "View my trip" under "I purchased my Pass on Eurail.com", and then make a new trip or use an existing one.
• If you purchased your Pass from elsewhere, then please click on "View my trip" under "I purchased my Pass elsewhere". Enter a new Trip name and travel period and click "Add Trip".

Next you can add your travel companion(s) to the trip by selecting "Add travelers from another order". Then enter the email addresses used to purchase the Passes of your companion(s), as well as the order numbers, and click "Import". 

• Make sure you don't enter any extra spaces before or after the email addresses or order numbers, or you may receive an error message.

Once you've imported the Pass details of your friends or family, you can use this "Trip" to make your reservations together.

Please note that our seat reservations system assigns seats automatically and does not take seating preferences into account, so we cannot always guarantee that your seats will be together.
