The final stop in this Belgium itinerary is actually in Luxembourg! Luxembourg City fascinates on every level – quite literally. Situated across a deep gorge, an elevator connects its exquisite upper town with Grund, the edgier, low-lying area of the city. Venture a further 131 feet below to explore the Bock Casemates, an extensive network of underground tunnels dating from the 17th century.
Check out the Grand-Ducal Palace and modern art museum, or wander around relics of the city’s Old Quarters and fortifications.
