Watch the sunset in Oia, Santorini
With its blue and white buildings, Santorini is probably the most famous Greek island, and must be visited at least once. Watch the sunset in Oia for those perfect photos, with the sunlight sinking over the Aegean Sea, remembering to respect the locals who live there.
Visit Shipwreck Bay, Zakynthos
Imagine a rusted shipwreck, lying upon golden sand. Hidden away in Navagio Bay, the wreck of Panagiotis is Zakynthos' top attraction and the most famous shipwreck in the world. We'd recommend to visit this site with a private boat or guide to escape the crowds, allowing you to witness this stunning spectacle in peace.
Wonder at the windmills, Mykonos
Mykonos is another island characterized by its gleaming white buildings, but its windmills are also incredibly famous. With their iconic white designs, these windmills are sat beside the sea and symbolize the island's agricultural past. Head here off-season for the best experience, and remember to take your camera!
Climb the cliffs at Meteora
The Monasteries of Meteora form the largest archeological site in Greece, and that's saying something. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, these monasteries are perched upon enormous rock formations, isolating them from the rest of the world. Climb up to visit the monasteries and marvel at one of the world's most unique landscapes.
Run on the racetrack at Olympia
Ancient Olympia was one of the most sacred sites in Ancient Greece and still holds its wonder today. Stroll around the incredible ruins, keeping an eye out for the remains of the statue of Zeus, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. And, as the birthplace of the Olympics, you must run across the original Olympian racetrack.
Live the Mamma Mia life, Skopelos
Throw on those dungarees and head out to the island of Skopelos, otherwise known as the Mamma Mia island. With its breathtaking scenery, iconic clifftop church and of course all the settings of your favorite scenes, why wouldn't you visit?
Hike around the Dragon Lake, Epirus
